TOXOZON CLEARS THE AIR IN THE OFFICE!

Laserpinters, laser fax machines and photocopiers offer big advantages: no office can do without them. However, there is a hardly known and important disadvantage. These machines produce a heavy dosage of ozone and toner particles.

Ozone is an important substance in our atmosphere but at the same time it is toxic towards human beings.

The ozone produced by laser printers, laser fax machines and copiers causes numerous complaints such as: irritated throats, sore eyes, skin irritation, loss of concentration, etc.

The resulting effect is an unhealthy working climate, discomfort and inevitable high absenteeism. It has also been proved that allergy sufferers can benefit greatly by investing in a TOXOZON filter unit.

OZONE BECOMES OXYGEN:

Every copier has a built-in ozone filter; these filters, however, are very small and the absorption capacity is minimal. Moreover, they are completely saturated within two months.

This is not the case with an TOXOZON filter unit because its capacity is 60 times greater than the normal built-in filters. The 3 enormous dust filters catches all particles whereas the special ozone filter, active carbon, converts the noxious ozone to 100% healthy oxygen.

TECHNICAL DATA - FUNCTION TOXOZON:

TONER PARTICLES:

The newer the laser printer the more dangerous toner particles get. We expect more and more quality from our printers. 600 DPI is not enough no 1.200 is the word!

All kinds of different lung diseases have occurred with humans such as dust lungs

(Coal miner’s disease) Asthma, bronchitis and the latest developments are lung cancer!! The toner particles become smaller, 2-9 microns now days, because of the better print quality, but get below 6 microns which is the smallest particle our lungs can resist.

FUNCTION:

All models of TOXOZON have been equipped with a 75- or 98-Watt centrifugal fan.

TOXOZON has placed this fan under the 3 dust and carbon filters, therefore eliminating the possibility of congestion of gasses, and it has no restricting effect on the air ventilation of laser printers.

VENTILATION UNIT:

Whispering 75-Watt or 98-Watt fan. Life expectation: 30.000 working hours, or 17 years. Rotation velocity adjustable to each model of laser printer, laser fax and copier.

FILTER UNIT:

Dust filter : 0.25m2

Carbon filter : 1.8 kg

Life expectation of dust- and carbon filters: 1500 working hours or one year.

CONSTRUCTION:

The TOXOZON is made of 1.5 mm thick steel plate

and is powder coated in gray/beige.

SIMPLE REMOVAL OF FILTERS:

Dust and ozone filters will continue to clear the air for a considerable time.

After replacement of the filters, which is done automatically by us, the TOXOZON unit will continue to clean the air for a further 12 months.

TRANSITION UNITS:

Transition units are available for each laser printer, laser fax and copier types.

ACCESSORIES:

A moveable support (casters) is available in which the TOXOZON fits. This is necessary when the Toxozon base-unit cannot be placed under the printer or fax.

ENVIRONMENT

Our environmental manufacturing of the different parts of the Toxozon further decreases the burden on the environment. Such as the use of recycled paper, the use of coconut shells for our active carbon filters and the usage of powder coating the Toxozon instead of using spray paint!
